Lambikin's Happenings Newsletter - Spring/Summer 2009
It is finally Spring. That is all I can say. I don’t know about everyone else but I was ready to see spring come. All the flowers are out and blooming, and I am enjoying being able to sit on my back deck with my knitting and some Ice Tea on my swing and enjoying the fresh air.
We have a lot of exciting things going on around Lambikins. We have an awesome new spring collection of yarn that has arrived and made its way to the shelves. We have received many new books that will tempt every knitter in one way or another.
Starting in May we will open signups for our workshop in November. Our teacher for this will be Lucy Neatby. She will be teaching a sock class and a Double Knitting class. These workshops will be the weekend of November 21 and 22. We will have a limited amount of space so you will want to get signed up as soon as possible.
Our May Yarn of the Month for our Frequent Buyer Card Holders will be Rowan’s All Seasons Cotton. This is a wonderful worsted weight yarn that knits up quickly. It makes wonderful Jersey like sweaters that are good for children through adults.
Joyce will be resuming her Zen Saturday knitting so watch our blog and our Ravelry group for dates and times.
We are introducing our Friday Lunch Help Times. This will be $10 and you can bring in any projects that you are in need of help with. We will be doing this from 12-2 PM every Friday over the summer. Everyone is welcome to bring some lunch and come for help. We will still have our private help times that are by appointment only available as well.
I want to remind everyone we will be closed the following dates over this newsletter period.
Sunday May 10
Saturday May 23 through Monday May 25
Saturday July 4
