Yarn Source was launched in the fall of 2005 as a new line of yarn exclusive to Lambikin's Hideaway. Passion, a 100% silk yarn, was introduced as our first line of yarn. In the fall of 2006, we launched our second line, Sol. Sol is a 100% worsted weight wool with 220 yards for only $4.50 per skein.

Besides Yarn Source, we offer yarns from dozens of the top yarn manufactures. Among our favorites are Reynolds, Malabrigo, Louet, Classic Elite, and Misti Alpaca. We stock our yarn deep both in quantity and color selection. If we do not offer a line or color you must have, we are always more than happy to special order that perfect yarn for you.

We have converted over half of our upstairs into a huge knitting lounge and dedicated class area. We have 5 plush chairs around one of our 4 fireplaces available for relaxing, knitting and chatting with friends. Across the room sits a large table that can comfortably seat up 8 students.
